The Importance of Mental Health

When life starts getting stressful, complicated, or not what you expect nor want, do you ever wish you could take a magic wand and say “bibbidi-bobbidi-boo” and it would make everything in your life easier? I wish that it happened that way if so, I would use my magic wand for everything, especially during this pandemic. Many people have developed anxiety, anxiousness, and depression.
Before Corona, I was very social, always went out with friends and never worried about anything. Now, I get really anxious, have a ton of anxiety, and am not very social anymore. Before all of this crazy stuff happened, I never really thought about my mental health. I never really got why people made it such a big deal. I completely understand it now. Mental health is just as important as physical health.
During these times, it is really important to always do things to make yourself happy, and feel good about yourself, Such as talking about your feelings can help you stay in good mental health and deal with times when you feel troubled, Keep active, Eat well, Drink sensibly, Keep in touch with people that make you happy, Ask for help, Take a break, do something you’re good at and enjoy. “Be strong now, because things will get better. It might be stormy now, but it can’t rain forever.” Always remember that you are not alone and whenever you’re feeling down, anxious, or, overall not yourself try something out of those things and see if that helps.
